Geocaching Gear and Gold Panning Gears

Hide & Seek meets Cloak & Dagger!

Part game, part challenge, part quest - Geocaching is basically the WORLD'S LARGEST TREASURE HUNT!

Ever wanted to travel the world, or the backroads of your own neighborhood, searching for lost treasure? Geocaching is exactly what you've been waiting for.

Geocaching is a totally free-form, community driven, collaborative outdoor activity in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or other navigational tools to hide, and then seek containers, called "geocaches" or "caches", anywhere in the world. There are literally thousands of geocaches all across the globe. There could be one in your backyard right now!

A typical cache is a small waterproof container containing a logbook where the geocacher enters the date they found it and signs it with their established code name. Larger containers such as plastic storage containers or ammo boxes can also contain items for trading, usually toys or trinkets of little value. Geocaching is often described as a game of high-tech hide and seek, similar in many ways to benchmarking, trigpointing, orienteering, treasure-hunting, letterboxing, and waymarking.

Geocaches are currently placed in over 100 countries around the world on all seven continents, including Antarctica. After 10 years of activity there are over 1.3 million active geocaches published on various websites, and over 5 million geocachers worldwide!

We're now including all of our gold panning gear right here as well, so if you can't find your geocache, you can sit down by the river and pan for gold!

Ready or not, here we come!
